US per capita car ownership proportional to 590 million cars in China

China has 19 million cars. If it had the same rate of car
ownership as the US it would have 590 million.

    The auto and fossil-fuel companies see this as a profit opportunity. They plan to fill the world with cars. Only two things will stop them. The end of the human race or free public transit. Which will it be?
